I made a new build at http://landwehr.dk/blender2.zip which solves some additional problems with the rendering window. Full screen does not work and neither does it if there are overlap between blender and the dock. I have a Mac Mini with Leopard 10.5.2 and for my use of blender it works fine. THAN...

A topic that NEEDS developer attention:

Any official comment would be wonderful. http://www.blender.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12620&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0 Running Blender on Apple's MacBook or MacMini computers that have been installed with OS X "Leopard" have been facing a very serious setback in Blender's interface. This probl...

The "update" that Apple released (10.5.2) has not solved this problem. I did not pay 1400 dollars for a computer that is internally dependent on a premature system (Meaning: I cannot downgrade to 10.4), and I sure as hell won't pay 200 dollars to run a free program on Windows XP or Vista. Apple migh...

Are any of the blender developers working on this? I don't mean to be rude, but Windows XP is a little too expensive, and I'm not sure if I can safely downgrade back to Tiger.

Huh? You already downgraded to Leopard. :D

Umm... I don't get it. Anyway, is this being addressed by any of the developers for the next version?

MacBook + Leopard interface speed issue

Just a notice; for anyone who owns a MacBook and is planning on or has already bought Leopard, there is a serious lag in the Blender interface. The rendering engine seems to be unaffected, though the game engine, while working at a steady 60 fps, reports that 40% of the computer's processor is being...

I bought a controller thinking that it would work with blender on a mac. What is SDL anyway? Could there be some kind of script written to get it to work?

Halo "add" feature eiher not working or changed

With the earlier versions of blender, when you used the "add" feature in the Halo material, and the color of the halo was black, then the halo would be completely transparent. Now, this may have just been a bug, but it was useful for me: I would make the halo material black and add a texture, and I ...
