true box/polygon modeling take a good look at wings3D. How intuitive it is. Maybe we can implement some of it in Blender. I can't see why you can only select vertices in editmode. we must be able to select edges and polys as well. of course once you select those we need some stuff we can do with it ...

global widgets. i dont understand why some widgets are on the 3d window. like editmode, that should be a 'global' widget, there's no use in having it on every 3d window header. same with transforms. well, maybe they can be on all 3d windows, if they serve as translation constraints. It might be nice...

Indeed. That can't be a good thing. How can Blender be developed further if we're 'disconnected' from the enduser group? there must be twoway communication between the different 'target groups'

hmm that put's a nice perspective on things to come. however Ton mentioned that blender3d.com would become the enduser site, while this text says it would be the blender.nl site. hmm, damn yes i have a lot to wish for, just minor things that ill make it more intuitive. understand however that i'm only using it for two ! days. so you might think, i can't comment on blender than, but i think i can. i have experience with 3d apps, and was extremely frustrated at first with it, ...

IngieBee, if you want to do MMOG's, check out the Nel engine. it's very advanced and also opensource. http://www.nevrax.com in fact someone there is writing a python interface to blender for it. hope to see him succeeding. I'm currently setting up a team together with a friend to develop using this ...
