i think the sequencer should be used for things like this. it would be great to have that kind of feature in the sequencer, but currently you can actually sequence it, create another scene and link all objects. now set the second scene to mblur and the first to not mblur, then sequence between the t...

multiples of 8
multiples of 4
multiples of 2

see if they work.

p.s. do they have to be to the POWER OF 2 or can they be a strange multiple of 16

e.g. 16x3 = 48

could you have one as 48x48 pixels??

Hmmm so multiples of work, rather than just anything^2.

it relies on it being in a multiple of 16. the user can enter any number(numerical input button). and the code then makes it into a multiple of 16 by rounding it down. ummm but 2560 is not a multiple of 16???? most of the buff sizes in blender are not multiples of 16 only the first few then suddenl...

perhaps rendering onto many many layers and saving it as a MULTI layered. XCF (gimp) or PSD (photo shop) file. perhaps also saving renders that have mutiple scenes rendered in multi layered image files so that you don't then loose the background information and also don't have to composite by hand. ...

cessen i do understand shadow buffers well and even know how they work. i know how to set them up for optimum results and have done that. clip sta is set just outside the distance of the closest object to the light. and clip end is set to the last point that i want a shadow cast. the angle of the la...

alien-xmp so if i HAVE 400Mb of FREE memory (from 1Gb) i would be able to bump up the number of lamps with NO problem, or would there be another problem involved. would it conflict with another part of the renderer?? i am real tempted to do that (would visual basics compile it on windows??) i think ...

Workarounds are fun, but don't really add to the quality of the end result. There will always be limits, let's try to reach the ones in our minds and creativity, not the ones in our tools. -Joeri this makes no sense. your mind and creativity has NO boundarys while blender is restricting my creative...
