hey

well if you havent got it working yet, you need to go to the ipo editor under material... to insert a frame, hit I in the materials tab... it will bring up a list, you want to set an ipo for the "alpha"... when you do, make sure one frame has 1.000 alpha and the other has 0...

well I know a format that supposably saves the Z-depth. but I've found it rather frustrating to use for my purposes... I beleive a radiance HDR saves z-depth...

you can find tutorials on modelling on google... as easy as typing in "blender modelling tutorials" or something along those lines or wait for my video tutorial package, teaching you the basics on blender and what you need to start :)

hey well there is and isn't... because blender has a better way then defining global ipos. because lets just say you need to merge more then 2 rotations... (such as modelling a solar system with moons rotating around planets rotating around the sun...) blenders Action and NLA editors are just what y...

wow you are right, the vertex snap will work, but doesn't actually cut the mesh in 2.46, where it does in 2.45 (I just checked). all I can really say is to report the bug in the bug section of the forums...
