Heh heh... I can see how confusing all this would seem from the outside. I used to think Blender was more or less incomprehensible even three years ago when everything was normal. I've tried to put myself in the state of mind I would be if I had heard about Blender for the first time like two months...

Small and silly malfunction found
I'm sure someone must have noticed this before, and even posted it too, I don't know - or maybe it's just my particular copy....Anyways: Blender 2.25, the official NaN-version, the button for controlling the view in 3D windows (top, front, side) is all warped. Since I never use it, I never look at i...

Now that you mention it, I recall some post from eeshlo concerning that. It unloaded all the Blender internals to a python-file or something like that?theeth wrote:Eeshlo made one already, even before the opening of the source. It's used in his LightFlow export script and can export just about anything.

Hmmm... with the current status of things I assume that the .blend file format is available and perhaps even documented somewhere? [note to myself: get someone to tell me where to find that] How about setting up some form of generic parser, maybe even as an external program that could simply convert...

This is great stuff. Let's just hope that Nokia stays alive for a while... I guess we'll see Blenderplayer support on the next Nokia then. Might be a good reason for me to replace my old one...
/me thinks of Ericson, Sweden.
And remember that sedgetone is still in an unclosed rant-block... watch out!

I seem to remember that the upper limit for total verts/scene was increased a couple of times. I don't know if those changes were non-trivial or not, but I can only assume that memory allocation for vertex lists etc is dynamic already . I mean, it would be very weird if an empty scene would claim a ...

Interesting piece of pie, Cessen! That is more or less the same technique I've been using in my Java projects lately. It's a very good thing and it really helps - not only with understanding the code I wrote myself a couple of months ago, but also as a programming aid while writing the actual code. ...
