Well, if that's a fair comparison, then I suppose it really is a good idea.

I hope you don't think I'm trying to hijack anything. No, I don't! We may have different views on some issues, but that's cool... <edit> And, I might add, I too see the need for modularization and innovative functionality beyond adding what other packages already have - so I'm with you on that. </e...

I've had serious problems embracing LoqAirou/NGB/Verse all along - not for the reasons you mention, but more as a general gut-feeling. The reason for this, I believe, is that I still have not seen any sort of reasonable connection from Blender 2.x as we know it to the above software projects. It's o...

How embarrassing! That works fine. Of course. Duh! Thanks z3r0_d, I'll buy you a beer next time I see you (which will probably never happen, but if it does...)

Sure, well, OK... You seem to have envisioned all of this in great detail, and that's a good thing of course. And I'm with you about the modularity breaking the idea about an INTERNAL renderer. That's only natural. I'll change that to a default, standard renderer that the user invokes in a totally t...

I cannot give you a detailed explanation of the functions in particular, but offer a brief answer about jitter in general::.. The term jitter translates to 'irregular random movement' - the use of it in this case is to facilitate some sort of averaging when taking multiple samples of something. For ...

- - - basically OpenGL 2 is much like a shader language for graphic cards. And If your card does not handle it, it's CPU-calculated. - - - Fair enough. What about the rendering thing then? Are there actual plans to scrap the idea of an internal renderer and simply only use what OGL2 can provide? Up...

I'm having some trouble grasping this talk about OpenGL 2... I read up a bit on it, and admittedly it sounds very powerful. But this is still just intended for realtime display, right? And the features depend a lot on what kind of graphics hardware is installed on the system used. I'm simply a bit w...

A very short post here, but it's mostly a sidenote::.. Could someone perhaps explain, just roughly outline, the algorithm that would go into making the future module known as the "director-of-photography-module"? The input data would be "objects_characters_environment" - we issue the command "compos...

Homer_S: Making mistakes is a good thing. You learn a lot while doing them, and sometimes - not often though - you even come up with something really cool while accidently messing stuff up.

Interesting stuff. I must have missed it when you originally posted it though. Aside from some details, it still gives a good idea about what should be done.

Now, where is that native EPS-import? :D

I get that to, actually. Win2K tho.

Isn't this something that would be really easy to fix for someone who knows in which file to look? Ideally one should have a thicker black crosshair with a thin white one inside.
