File -> Link or File -> Append will allow you reach into other blend files and link or copy the data there to your new file.

try exporting your model and an OBJ file, however rigging a model us application specific, you should rig the model with what ever software your game engine recommends (if that's blander then the OBJ should work)

perhaps the Audio encoding has not yet been implemented for AVI raw, have you tried other options? H.264?
Also in user prefs it's recommended to change your audio setting to SDL for sequencer

recalculate your normals to consistently point to the outside. Although Unity can read blender files I prefer to export the mesh as an OBJ as this enables you to tick the Normals option on the exporter (off by default).

The Add tool button has dropped off a few versions back, however you can use the space bar to bring up a search menu of tools and run the action from there.

there is a Decimate modifier but it creates peculiar geometry. As Logo uses regular shapes it would be easier to manually create your objects.
