I thought you wanted to render a walkthrough animation. To just move around - go into camera view (Numpad0) and enable Fly Mode (Shift+F). I don't find it very handy though, since it uses acceleration and doesn't behave like a true FPS camera.

You have to animate the camera.

When duplicating an object, the two new objects will share the same action datablock. You will have to make a "single-user copy" of the action for the second cube.

There's a lot of things that could be wrong, for example unwelded vertices (remove doubles).

You will have to recalculate the normals (Ctrl+N).

Well, i'll need a bit more info on the situation... Skin weights are edited in Weight Paint mode if you want to investigate it yourself. It could also be a constraint problem, if you have any, but again, im making blind guesses here.

Could be a weights issue, normally parenting should make the other objects follow along perfectly. Can you provide a screenshot or maybe a .blend file?

Either adjust the median crease in Edit Mode or use simple subdivision instead of Catmull-Clark for the Multires modifier.

If you append the file's whole scene, it should merge everything without the need to select all objects one by one.
