blender doesn't have a way of defining smooth groups at the moment ... That's what i whant to say. "SmoothGroups" are just an Example for an really old missing Feature which is shoved from Version to Version, over Years. Sorry, but autosmoothing is only a blender internal Solution, in addition not ...

I think i have exactly what You need. :D Have a look at my WebPage neewo.de and look for TileTex5in1. The Setup of the LogicBricks may be a little different now in 2.35, because Blenders internal Timing has changed. But that should be no Problem. There is a DemoFile with some Scenes included. I hope...

Ok, found some Problems: #1: The Mouse in the 'Split Area' Menue does not change, until leaving the Menue. #2: I hate the round Menue Highlightning. That's a Stylebreak, i think. But anyway, the Text-Editor Menue is still rectangular. #3: I've also a Problem with the Property-IPO-Actuator. It is fad...

Nice Build. Thank's for it. :D But the numerical input Fields are totally bugy. :( (Try in Logic Bricks and N-Key Menue ... don't know where else.)

I found a nice, small and free OpenGL Analysis-Tool for Win and Mac. If You want to know what Your Card can do? Check this out: *here*.

I like Your Tutorial, very nice. And thanks for naming me. :D But please use smaller and higher compressed Textures for the Demo File. That will keep the Filesize low.

Here is a little Python Code to load the Shaders from external Files. You just have to insert the Shader Name into the Script. Maybe "BumpMap". In that Case, You need a "BumpMap.vert" and a "BumpMap.frag" File, containing the Vertex and the Fragment Shaders. It seems, that the "running blend-File Pa...

Still looking fantastic and working fine on my NVidia Card. :D But i have some (maybe stupid) Questions: While trying coding i see, it's very hard to find Bugs and Errors. Is there a Way to print out the Content of an Variable and other Stuff? Maybe: vec3 vv ...

I don't know, but maybe a Graphic Card Driver update can help. It has to look like the Pic below. I receive some Warnings too, but no Errors and it works.
