I wonder whether it would make a lot of sense to have the development site in more languages - since all the development needs to be enligsh for everyone to understand, making parts of the site for example german would sooner or later make people form a "german group" which might ending up in german...

I can see how this could be a problem though, since many people will instinctively type blender.org or get the link passed to them or something. It'd probably be a good idea to put some sort of message online directing people to blender3d.com if they're not interested in development. It will slowly...
