Doing symmetry is what I want to do. I have a cylinder mesh, and I want to make changes to one side. I want the Mirror modifier to make changes to the other side.

Is that wrong? Should I delete half the mesh, then add the Mirror modifier?

Mirror modifier: why is the old, unmirrored mesh still there

I'm using the Mirror modifier. I think I'm doing something wrong. I'm mirroring across the X axis. When I move a vertex, I still see a vertex in the same position as the one I just moved. Wireframe, too. I'm seeing two meshes, overlapping in space. When I apply the modifier, I get this weird mesh th...

Space Navigator working in 2.5 yet?

I'm very excited and pleased with the 2.5 beta, and really hoping to see Space Navigator supported in it.

Any news on that, anyone?
