Exit code = 0 means you're logged in successfully, different from 0 means there has been a problem.
From the menu Admin/Command Line enter the command "cvs co blender" and you'll get the sources.

Hi Eskil, I'd like to give my opinion on your work. I have looked at the specs of Verse, and it looks like a really nice API for distribution of 3d data along the internet. I downloaded Loq Airou (is the name correct?sorry I have problems remembering it without checking the spell on your site) - rea...

I really would like to get rid of M$ stuff too, using mingw or BCC on win, gcc on linux (already possible) - but for sure a using namespace in an .h file is to avoid, as already said... Somebody suggested to use CMake, any reports about it's usefulness? Unfortunately I really don't have time to play...

using namespace std: evil usage

To the people cleaning the code: there are MANY header files with "using namespace std" inside. This makes impossible (for me) to compile, on win32, the module that uses openAL as an identifier "vector" makes MSVC compiler thinks it's std::vector. Putting a "using namespace..." in an .h file pretty ...

Hmm, never patched before.
I guess i have an old and bugged version.
How can I see the cl version? I tried cl /v without success - I have to dig my msvc library CDs.
I hope on the m$ site there still is the patch, as now it's .net everywhere...

An ODE interface accessible via python

Hello, regarding the ode integration in the "non game" part of blender, I started a long time ago some work to create a C module - using python and importing this module it's possible to create animations with physics calculated by ode. An example movie in my old post: http://www.elysiun.com/viewtop...

I am interested - right now I'm using a python script for it, but integrating or adding it as a plugin could be a good addiction.
keep up the good work and thanks! :wink:

Two main development efforts?

Hello, I was thinking about how the job of improving Blender should be organized. Having looked at the code, I think that there should be two main efforts: one extends the currently available architecture, in order to have quick results, another creates the architecture of Blender3, more OO, more mo...
