Well, that icon is definitely meaningless. Why does a cube symbolise backface culling? It's a hardish icon to design - personally I'd prefer it as an option in the Select menu though...

As each morph target can be a RVK by itself. Think about it.. A morph target IS an RVK, but from what I understand you want to have both RVKs and morph tagets and once so to be able to layer them? If so, I think that sounds over complicated. Layering is nice, but let's use the NLA instead.. it's ea...

Work has commenced on soft bodies, which could simulate soft stuff, such as bubbles. I think Ton and someone else is developing it, but I'm sure they would welcome someone who has knowledge and will to help out.

Solmax and Gabio: I agree with both of you that seperate meshes is more chunky, and your workflow suggestions are very reasonable. Managing and adding new RVKs could very well happen in the Edit buttons window. (Or maybe complete new button window under Editing context?) One feature that would be ni...

Joeri: I did a proposal on improving RVKs quite a while back, which might still be of interest. http://www.shadeless.dk/ui/morphtargets.htm [quote=broken]And an even cooler thing in Messiah is the ability to not only link bones to blend between morph targets, but also all sorts of other things, such...

One of the most missed animation features IMO is the ability to combine morph targets with bone deformations. Check below to see how powerfull this would be. http://www.projectmessiah.com/x2/messiahanimate_main.htm Note that messiah's bones give you more control in stretching and moving joints, whic...

The old arguement on why this woudn't be possible, was that we would need undo first, so that it is able to detect if an action has been done. So, maybe it could be done now? It is completely standard behavior, and is very useful. Even if it may store the undo stack in a file - it's another oddity t...

but surely it would optimise Blender for operation on a 64 bit computer such as a G5.

Those poor sods with a beautiful dual processor G5 aren't getting the most of it with no multithreading and no official 64 bit support yet. A pity.

I can't get the bug tracker to work, so I'll post a few bugs here.. 1, When you interact with a widget in any floating panel in the 3D View, IPO Editor and so on, with LMB Select, blender selects through it. This means that anything that is close to the panel will get seleted through the panel, even...

ElBarto: I'm quite sure you missed thier point... What they are sayning is that there is no need to add extra bloat to the software in the shape of too many controls the user doen't need. You could remove the passepartout option and have it on all the time, and it wouldn't bloat up the render button...

Yes, I've had this problem too. How about just letting it be mapped to the whole sphere, not just the top half? Would be a more logical solution, IMO.

There should really be a sepperate icon for animation to make it more obvious. Or maybe a cleverer way of handeling OpenGL rendering. For example, it could be an renderer option in the Renderer dropdown, making it Blender Yafray OpenGL This way it would seem more accesible to users, and it would act...

Good to hear about overall progress! As a means to indicate items in the Outliner to do operations on, you can select with RMB items. Works like FileSelect here. Since selection in Outliner is only on outliner level, no further UI updates happen. That is reserved for LMB actions. Implemented right n...
