This feature is in XSI - it's very clever. It allows you to manipulate complex IPO curves, such as motion capture curves, with a simpler curve that deforms the underlying curves similar to a lattice object works on a mesh. It allows you to manipulate motion that is very realistic and non-uniform in ...

You can keep both windows open at once. Use the split area finction. The view all bug has been reported a number of times, hopefully fixed by 2.35.

I personally think that a line should be drawn before including a full-blown text editor. Of course this is just an opinion, but wouldn't it be better to have it as an optional python plugin? Maybe using Verse or something. Why? Blender uses Python for scripting, having to load a Python scrips in o...

Tried everything, but Blender/Yafray keeps on crashing. Everytime I apply full GI with photons and cache it crashes. This was not so with Blender 2.34 pre and Yafray 0.07 pre, and works fine with XML export ON. I prefer working with XML off though.

well.. i see it's my fault again... I'd like to know *which* feature you are commenting at (i did too much in one update ) so that *some* users like *some* new features is not really *feedback* to developers. I wasn't implying that it is your fault many Tuhopuu features have been erased. But it's s...

I was thinking about text highlighting mostly. I haven't played much with SPE, but that seemed to me as one of the main attractions. If we could have this in Blender it would be great!

I like new features, but sometimes it is useful to see your vertex painting without a mesh projected on top. You used to be able to toggle this with the Wire button in the Object buttons. Preferrably this should be toggleable somehow. BTW, what ever happened to the Relax UVs feature? What eas was wr...

Would it not be possible to incorperate SPE's features into Blenders Text Editor?

Will you need Python installations for this to work? As long as it is seamless, it's ok that you are going to do it in Python, but if it implies lots of extra hassle for the user, I'm not sure if it's a good idea.

Let me ask: what made you decide to move to Python instead of C?

Integrating Sequence plugins

In Blender 2.34 two new Sequence Editor Strip effects have been added, the Wipe and the Glow effect. These add greatly to the functionality of the Sequence Editor, and they can be used out of the box without the need of downloading any extras. However, much of the Sequencer functionality is still hi...
