I think it would be cool if you could wheres the lines ran from, Top To Bottom, Right to Left, Left To Right or Bottom To Top. Because when im doing an detailed AO render with raytracing sumtimes i just wanna see one part first and decide if i wanna cancel the render.

Hmm are u sure u have install SDL correctly cos it looks like that is your problem. Also try downloading the source again.

I didnt have to install SDL unless i did it with the rest of cygwin. Or maybe i installed a while ago.

Compiling Blender under cygwin is very easy just do this:

Even if it could be done using the current Blender tools, i think that having an interface through python to a database where you could store all of your objects, meshes and materials etc.. Oops hang on i might be wrong, the internal Yafray is not internal at all yet, it just exports the XML scene file and then calls yafrays and then gets the output image and put it in blender. I suppose this could be done with toxic if you know the XML scene stuff.
