In the new guide, it says that Blender comes with Math and OS already built in, i think it has come with OS for a while hasnt it.

I remember seeing import system on some scripts i think as well, am i confusing OS with system?

Look at the render, because blender uses a scanline renderer, u can tell how far through it is, half way up, 50%. :P

But also i agree that we need a percentage done bar.

It should be trivial to replace the 38,000+ lines of C code that implement Blender's Python interface. A long afternoon at the most. Good point, i just would like to think that you dont have to learn Python in order to script for blender, Perl is a much bigger scripting language in my opinion i thi...

Python isnt that bad, just very specific. But i agree if you had the choice between 2 scripting languages well..... wow. Even better would be if Blender had its own scripting language, like maya. That was easier to use than python. If you were to go into all this hassle to enable perl scripting y no...

Well Landis, i thought about this before, but i used a different method of approach which was to have an integrated web browser in Blender, where people could access tutorials. My idea got very negative feedback, but i think your idea is much better and more promising. I never thought about it like ...

Your right their is alot of usful information on the Elysiun, forums and im sure there is also from other foreign sites. I think we should have a WiKi as well, that would be great. We also need tutorials with common styles, and also on the same site. If they were here on the Blender.org site that wo...
