If you could manage to do that at a later stage, that would be great, but It's not urgent obviously, I was just curious.

100seconds !! Wow, I remember doing a build with Cygwin and must have taken more like 100 minutes. Needless to say, I only did it once.

Hi jesterKing. I must say thanks for providing these builds at such regular intervals. I sometimes get a build that Theeth has done and was wondering if you know what compiler he is using? Comparing the last build I had from him (5 jan) and one using MSVC around the same time, there is quite a notic...

I am still picking up a lighting problem in Blenders Render as pointed out by Blinblin in the previous builds post. (looks like his host is down at the moment) Rendering from the front shows up ok, but move the camera to 45 degrees on the right and the faces show up as if they were on the shadow sid...

Yep, I have the same problem. It looks like it is finding a different .Blend file from somewhere else. Or is creating one in a folder outside of the folder it is run from.

Is anyone experiencing the same armature problems as I am? What used to be sticky feet are now not. If I grab the base of the spine on the previous pre-Yafray builds, and pull down, the character goes into a crouch. Now all he does is relocate completely. This rig has worked in all the Blender versi...

An interesting point just quick regarding bones and deformation: The official 2.3 release is Slower in terms of Armature deformations than your build Theeth. At first I thought I was imagining things but now I am convinced. I just dropped your exe over the official one and its much faster. Are you u...

I cant recreate your 2.28c version on my 2.28c.

Do you have a .Blend at all.?

I had similar errors posting to this forum.

Hmm, it looks the same on my 2.28c as it does on your 2.3.

Do you have screen shots of 2.28c

I am curious because I was almost convinced I noticed a slight speed decrease with 2.3 armatures. If what you are saying is correct, then these are more than likely related.

cheers

you still get movement on the bones right?

The top 2 should bend.

The grab handle does move away from the root of the 3rd bone, but that is normal for blender. It should pull the bone though

Just some work arounds I have done: These are pretty obvious but I will state them anyway. If you going to be doing character animation in Blender, dont even consider it unless you are doing SubSurf modelling. My cartoon characters have separate mesh items of no more than 300 vertices each. And thei...

Errors in tuhopuu (and pre-2.3)

Granted, 2.3 is still work in progress, but I have noticed this in tuhopuu too.

The shortcut key listed for Warp is Ctrl W, it should be SHIFT W

Switching the 3D window to full screen changes orthographic view to perspective and then the same back again. Switching basically toggles the view type
