Rendering stereo isn't that simple in today's pipelines... a lot of stuff is being composited, and you have to make sure this doesn't give a flat appearance in stereo. For Apricot, no Blender Game Engine development was going to be scheduled, apart from - and that is even undefined how - possible animation preview/prototyping tools.

For all the devs here; I wouldn't spend too much time on simulation and scientific accuracy... instead invest time in designing an instrument, a clouds/sky synthesizer with nice and interactive knobs and sliders for an artists to play with. :) As for integration: It could be called 'volumetric rende...
