Holy freaking crap, I want those new shading methodology in a Win32 binary in the worst way. But with kids and a mortgage, I don't have time to learn to compile it myself. Yes! Yes! Release! This is major!

You guys have to do pre-internships now?! Why IN MY DAY ONLY THE MOST MOTIVATED BROWNIE EVEN KNEW WHAT AN INTERNSHIP WAS! Cool for you, though. That'll be a nice head start on everyone else. RIB support. Native RIB support. Direct Blender material conversion/integrated shader construction. When you ...

Thank you. I will try my greedy little hands upon it later today!

Crap - you beat me to it. Actually, I haven't had a chance to start yet. Kids take up even more time than usual getting close to Halloween. I was thinking about linking the wireframe colors to different layers. If you want to tackle that, go ahead. If not, I'd still like to. If you don't mind, could...

Yeah, I know you can do it now via the scene/set workaround. But this would be sooooo much better. And it's (probably) within my grasp as a programmer.

Layer Management and Colors

Once we get a solidly compiling tree, I'm going to start with this: Make each layer's wireframe a different color in the 3d windows, that color being selectable by the user. Perhaps you could also select on a layer-wise basis to use the layer-defined color for that layer's wireframe display or the m...
