In tuhopuu you can enable wireframe mode (called "Lines" there) on a per face basis. The gameengine part of the code is already in bf-blender (>= 2.33 i think), however the gui part hasn't been ported yet.

sgefant I ws talking about the Blender save files. KDE uses the MIME type to associate the file with the relevant program. If I knew the .blend file mime type I could set it up properly. The files the plugin uses are more ore less ordinary .blend files. If it's only for your own use, you can name t...

to get your changes into tuhopuu simply subscribe to the tuhopuu-devel mailing list (http://www.blender.org/mailman/listinfo/tuhopuu-devel) and send a patch there.

Sometimes you only want to go up one level (like when using a blend file as a library) and not go all the way up to parent directory so I think the dots should be left. You're right, when browsing libraries the P button's behaviour is different from the ".." entry's. What would be useful is a way t...

Yeah, that's a bit odd...
However, as there already is the P button (jump to parent directory), I'm wondering if it would make sense to get rid of the "." and ".." entries in the file list.

This has been fixed in CVS. Tomorrow's snapshot should compile fine for you, as it no longer links against libXxf86dga.

when you're in a camera view, you can press the numpad view buttons to change the view, but you cannot ctrl+numpad to change the view to the opposite. Annoying and probably easy to fix.
This has been fixed quite some time ago. What version of blender are you using?

I think SirDude was referring to the daily CVS checkouts you can download from the CVS page which is accessible by clicking on the CVS link to the left.

Regarding your libstdc++ problems: what distribution are you using?

you can force blender (or any other opengl app) to not use hardware acceleration by starting it with a command like "LIBGL_ALWAYS_INDIRECT=1 blender" I have no idea if this works with nvidia-based cards, though.

Why is it so slow though ? I didn't notice any slowness. What part of blender is slow (the interface, rendering, ...)? Question for ya (as nobody seems interested in my post on the subject) -- you wouldn't mind telling me how to fix the ranlib issues, would you? When I try building it tells me to r...
