Right mouse is used to cancel and action for pretty much everything in Blender. Doing an exception for the knife tool is counter intuitive and wrong by any UI standard. Martin Good point, theeth. A lot of us, myself included, already use the right mouse button to cancel a transform. Standard or not...

Thanks for the report! during the past month of coding I could find several very ugly hacks in the code that caused slowdowns. The whole UI code now is under control again, quite invisible work many users might not realize well. I would appreciate you posting system specs as well, want to know what...

I like the new colours, but maybe make the text black, it's a tad hard to read. But then again I'm running at 1600x1200 and everything is small. Me too...I've found the AA windoze fonts don't help much at 1280 or higher and I have them turned off. They were actually giving me headaches because my e...

For me cygwin won't even install anymore... it stops right in the end - so I think I'll have to wait for it to be corrected and afer that I could post a binary. Blender compiled fine on cygwin though (at least a few weeks back). I'm compiling on linux at the moment, as now I don't have the time to ...

Soletread: If I use the unified renderer, it doesn't crash HTH. I reported it on the bug tracker, kind of early but they're really pushing 2.28 out the door. Tonight's build even has a new splash screen... ***update*** 2.28 is officially out, and so far I haven't been able to duplicate the problem i...

leinad13: alt-right mouse in editmode does it- shift-alt-rightmouse works too.
soletread- thanks, I wasn't aware of this and just duplicated it. Not a clue why yet...
It's also on tonights (23jul03) build. You get any error messages at all? I don't, but I can task out of it (ctrl-alt-del).

No Idea...
leinad13- No idea on that one- Double check your cygwin install and check that all environment variables are where they needed; or not needed- the only way I got python to cooperate on my machine was to uninstall the 2.2 version I already had and use the one that comes with cygwin. Those more experi...

Whoa, OMG, - some of the words I'm able to say after picking my jaw up off the floor. I was expecting the new shaders, and maybe the edge selection, but not how well it was done. The shader buttons layout is cool, and the new 'draw faces' and 'draw edges' methods are just awesome. Just freakin' outs...
