I think for regular objects, blender uses the euler angles, and for actions it uses quaternions. The interpolation code is in eval_icu() here: http://projects.blender.org/viewcvs/viewcvs.cgi/blender/source/blender/blenkernel/intern/ipo.c?rev=HEAD&cvsroot=bf-blender&content-type=text/vnd.viewcvs-mark...

I'm not aware of this problem (haven't python-ed in a long while).

I'd maybe consult the python mailing list:

Re: Open Source Vizualisation Tool Kits

Can someone tell me what are this Toolkits can do and if you can use this for Blenders Development!? The Tool kits link: http://public.kitware.com/ VTK is great! I use it all the time (usually for visualizing data from magnetohydrodynamics simulations). Some of the important features from VTK are i...

Maybe try this on the armature parent before doing the where_is_object():

clear_pose_constraint_status(ObArm);
make_displists_by_armature (ObArm);

Use 2 objects, one that follows the first path, one that follows the other. Hide the second one on an invisible layer. When the first object reaches the end of it's path, use a layer key to make it jump to the invisible layer. Simultaneously, make the second object jump from the invisible layer to t...

I have to confess that I've never gotten this to run either without segfaulting. The only reason I committed it is so that the project files would have something to link to. Maybe I'll try my hand at creating a new project for it (when I have some free time). The gcc-windows build does run with soli...

You don't need the cygwin python installed to build blender(in fact, you don't need *any* pythin installed) ... the python stuff you need will be obtained from the lib/windows module that you get in step 4 of the doc: http://projects.blender.org/viewcvs/viewcvs.cgi/*checkout*/blender/doc/README.wind...

Post-merge Tuhopuu / Windows-gcc (2004/02/15)

As some of you know, we merged tuhopuu with bf-blender yesterday, so we now have raytracing, better python goodies, etc. Merging is a bit of a tricky thing, so hopefully everything works OK. Any feedback is appreciated. This build also has Kester's work on the solid integration into the gameengine. ...

In tuhopuu1 (in my local copy that I never committed), I created what I called 'bone glyphs': http://bebop.cns.ualberta.ca/~cwant/glyphs.jpg There were controls for altering color and for style/shape (polygon/stars/asterisks, each with a 'number of sides' setting). The shapes would always face the c...

Double check to make sure you did step 4 correctly (and that you
did it in the right directory ... you should have a directory with
2 items, blender/ and lib/).
