Also, if you're just interested in adjusting the handles,
you can select the keys for many bones at once in the action
window and use HKEY, shift-KEY and VKEY to adjust
them like you would in the IPO window.

OK, I have committed code to the latest tuhopuu that should allow you to add or remove verts from a mesh with vertex keys without things going completely to hell. No fancy xsi stuff ... you get what you pay for. Be warned that if your mesh is also parented to an armature, the new verts will not have...

Hello, To use the kesterji stuff you need to do the following ('>' represents the prompt you type at): > cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/opende login (press enter for no password) > cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/opende co ode Then go to the ode/O...

Still no luck ... for some reason you have compiled this version with a dynamic dependency to SDL. The output from 'otool' I get is: bash-2.05$ otool -L yatty/blender.app/Contents/MacOS/blender yatty/blender.app/Contents/MacOS/blender: /System/Library/Frameworks/OpenGL.framework/Versions/A/Libraries...

I tried to run the executable, but it requires
an sdl dynamic lib ... how about stuffing up
a new file with that lib?

I've wanted this one for a long time ... would be easy to
implement too: use some kind of least-squares calculation
to find the 'plane of best fit' and project the verts to that plane.

Somebody get on that!

Yes -- this implementation is virtually identical to the one in tuhopuu1
... can you get your examples to work there?

Re: Tuhopuu2 Game engine bugs

I'll say this quick too: * Please note that wth anything in enji to work you need to put a box around it that is of type 'sector'. * Also, ODE doesn't like planes. If you want physics make sure your floor is a box or something. * Vague bug reports without even an example blend are quite useless. You...

I just tried phase's earlier collection of ode blends with this:

http://www.tncci.com/odeblends.zip

They all work, but it's interesting to note that the cola cans
fall over immediately with this new version.

Chris

P.S. Kester: are you on the tuhopuu-devel mailing list?

heya malefico,

Can you provide a very simple example blend that illustrates the problem?

(i.e., an example where if I run it in 2.27 and 2.28 I'll see very different behaviors).

Kester's ODE tuhopuu2 demo

Kester Maddock has been working on enhancing the
ODE support in blender. Here are win/linux binaries
of his work thus far:

http://bebop.cns.ualberta.ca/~cwant/kester/

tuhopuu2-gameengine-test.tar.gz are demo files.

Please provide constructive critisism and feedback.

Cheers,
Chris

Might be good to have absolute and relative modes. I think absolute mode would be less used than relative mode, so maybe append an 'a' to the coords to get an absolute placement. (I know that 'n' key gives absolute control, but another interface couldn't hurt). Wings has relative numerical input, bu...

The package you need is probably called sdl-dev or sdl-devel
... I have no idea where you would get mandrake packages
for this though.

Sliders would be no good, since sliders are meant to represent a percentage or a position within a finite range. A LocX could be 1 or 1000000000 blender units - what do you set the upper limit of the slider to? I wouldn't say no good completely... for example, RVK sliders use the N key while the mo...
