Better Download directory organization

Hello folks!! When you go to http://www.blender.org/cms/Documentation.628.0.html it is quite clear wich one is the latest manual and wich one are archived ones. But when you click on on http://download.blender.org/documentation/ everthing becomes mezzy. Would it be possible to add an "archived" sub-...

It seems like I've been out of the CVS for longer that I tough... on this new CVS i see that both SUMO and ODE are available, something that I find very good.

It is planed to keep it that way for 2.37 or this is something that will stay in the CVS only?

Gavio, I downloaded the XtrafilesCVS from your page.... came out empty when examined with ARK and in Karchiver.. you migh want to take a second look at it.

Even worse, both the Blender and the Tohopuu linux versions from your page uncompressed corrupted, so they won't start.

Ok for the poeple not following: Fresh tree. This mean new and empty. in fact Hos just copied the 2.36 source over. it's the responsability of the code owner to port the code, i suppose is that really a good idea? I feels like trowing away all the work made by the volunteers developers :( I can ima...

I just got a glimpse of the upcoming Blender 2.35 Guide and I can only say OMG!!!

It has a BEAUTIFULLY detailed Yafray chapter, with lots of test renders and goes into a many detals on "what does what" and "why this produces that".

When the RIB integration comes (IF it ever comes) I seriously doub that it will become even as remotely popular as Yafray. The average Blender user has no coding expertice, nor desire to get it.. and learning to shade for Renderman requieres you to learn a whole new programming language. Big studios...

eeshlo, have you ever been here: http://www.cgtalk.com/forumdisplay.php?f=91 ? Yafray gets mentioned and talked about at least twice per day, and that is in a small forum... so I woudn't say that interest is getting any littler. What I would say is that www.yafray.org needs to get updated more frecu...
