Post Mortem Question, for Michael. (already asked in the Maillist, but got no definitive answer -not even close to definitive).

Michael, was there any specific reason why the Linux faq was not included in the 2.34 bundle?

:P The built is opening and looking good. There are some issues with keyboard control inside the Game engine (on some games keyboard control is actually worse than it was on 2.33a). International fonts are working really fine, without the bugs found on 2.33a. (¨Save runtime...¨ option needs to be tr...

Seems that there are some more weird dependencies left The previous error is gone, but now I got this one instead: ./blender: error while loading shared libraries: libasound.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory Trying to start with './blender -noaudio' gives the same error.

people, will you ever acept it? Blender is not for commercial game development, at least not now. First is the issue with locking the files, since blender games aren't pre-compiled it is pretty much unlikely to happen. Second, if you are expecting to actually get money from your game then you should...

If you REALLY are planning to make money with Blender and you think that you REALLY need to have some sort of encription, then by all means, download the source and hire an independent programmer to code it ONLY FOR YOU. Consider it as a start-up investment for your business. But certainly don' t wa...

That isn't really needed because by default Blender saves your last modifications every time you exit.

Search for ¨quit.blend¨ in your temporary directory and you shall find it.

Missing link: Release Archive

In the Download area of Blender3d.com it used to be a link for the old releases archive... it isn't there anymore.

Then tryed to access that link from the download section of blender.org, but guess what? it redirects you to the download area of blender3d.com :x

or maybe there are some utilities to recode .exe files on the net(?), so they are signed and cannot be decoded anymore. I've heard about such utils. that's usable for all kind of exe files, including blender. This wouldn't help the web plugin though If there are such utilities then THERE IS THE SOL...

Actually, I think that the deflection/gravity settings SHOULD NOT be in the Effects panel. In case you haven't noticed, that panel is for FXs that originate within the object, but now we are facing properties that afect how THIS object intercact with the efectst originated on other objects, and more...
