Approx manual shipment?

Hi folks,

Please don't see this post as a badgering comment to get the manual out, but does anyone have any approx idea when it will be posted out? The reason I ask is that I go home for chrismas on the 19th dec and I want to take it with me. :)

Thanks for a detailed reply!! It is good to know that the issues seem to remain in some distinct areas. The great thing with Open Source of course though, is that these issues will get fixed over time and featured added. :D

Quick question: that head in the CG link looks incredible - if the same artist knew how to use Blender as well, could something such as that be created in Blender at that quality? I am just trying to guage how far Blender is from being able to be used to create near photorealistic heads such as that...
