Branching Blender for CrystalBlend: new BlenderCB project

On Ton's request I made a new project called 'BlenderCB' on projects.blender.org ( http://projects.blender.org/projects/blendercb/ ). This project will basically be a fork of Blender in which we can do the following things: - Experiment with dynamic loading of modules (i.e. the CrystalBlend+CS plugi...

CrystalBlend Status

Just a little note about status on CrystalBlend. It has been a bit quiet from my side lately but that's because I have been busy with other Crystal Space related stuff and also for CrystalBlend Full (integrated version) I was waiting for Blender 2.4 to be released. For CrystalBlend Lite (the version...

CrystalBlend Design Document V0.1

Hi all, Here is the first design document for the new CrystalBlend with new game logic. It is not 100% ready yet but already shows some things that will be there. Please let me know if you have any questions or comments. I'm also still looking for developers. Several artists already supported to my ...

I have well over 10yr experience with sound (next year 20 as a musician). I was thinking about doing *something* (surely won't go into details here - hint: http://www.soundobject.org/) sound-related, but in an interactive world. I have time to learn: I was thinking of employing opensource tools. If...

I checked the CrystalBlend web page and the associated Sourceforge project page. I see no link for downloading the current source package. Could you please point it out for me. I need to see how you extract texture coordinates from the blender files. It's for another open-source project. Thanks. Be...

CrystalBlend: recruiting for the CrystalBlend team!

Hi all, First an introduction. I'm the project manager of Crystal Space (Open Source 3D Engine), Crystal Entity Layer (game entity layer on top of Crystal Space), and more recently CrystalBlend (game engine port to Crystal Space). Here are a few url's: * Crystal Space: http://www.crystalspace3d.org ...

More clean (less beatiful picture). The entry of the state starts the animations, so you can jumping into the state will give you the reward, not leaving another state. Ah I see now. Yes something like that is possible. I was planning to add that to the CEL quest manager anyway so we can easily do ...

I think the sequence "opening door" should be played back in state "opening door" and not in state "closed door". So If I would jump to the state "opening door" the door would open, and not give the signal "open door" and then jump to the "opening door" state. The state should not only keep in memo...

Just a couple of questions: Where does Python fit in the chain? The idea with the new GameEngine is to avoid having to go to Python as much as you have to do it right now. Of course it will be possible to integrate Python too. At this moment I haven't yet decided how that will be though. Probably a...

CrystalBlend Binary Release

I have made a first release of the CrystalBlend binary (for windows only). This is really a very preliminary version. It maybe supports only 20% of what the Game Engine can do so it is not usable at all as a replacement of the Game Engine unless you have very simple needs. Also this is only the stan...
