Can't wait for the binary... But how will these first releases of crystal blend work? I will need Crystal Space + CEL + Blender + Crystal Blend to make it work? I guess that Blender will only be a front-end for all the twisted machinery behind Crystal Space. For the first binary I plan to release s...

First attempt at a design for the new CrystalBlend UI

I did a first attempt at a design for the new CrystalBlend UI based on the state-scenario in my previous mail. You can download the PDF here: http://www.crystalspace3d.org/CrystalBlend/crystalblend_ui_proposal.pdf A bit of explanation. There are basically two editing modes here. First you have the s...

Hi all. For people who don't know yet. CrystalBlend is a port of GameBlender to the Crystal Space engine. CrystalBlend forum and progress

For those who don't know, CrystalBlend is the port of GameBlender to Crystal Space (see http://www.crystalspace3d.org/tikiwiki/tiki-index.php?page=CrystalBlend for more information). I made a bit of progress today. The keyboard sensor and movement actuator are now VERY partially implemented. So very...

maybe going in the other direction could be the solution: Integrating Cel into blender with a completely new interface, then try to import old blender games in this system. But my experience is this: old Blender games run with old(same as created with) blender versions. Since after a short experien...

I've been watching the conversations on irc and in the mailinglists and it sounds like a great and awesome project! I like the idea of having the old game logic so blendergames are backwards compatible and new logic choice so there are more actuators/sensors/controllers with CEL. (maybe i should ch...

Alternative GameBlender Based on Crystal Space

A new project is born! The plan is to make an alternative to GameBlender with Crystal Space and CEL ( http://www.crystalspace3d.org ). From discussions on the blender mailing lists and IRC channel it appears that the current GameBlender is not developed a lot anymore and has several problems. That's...

Problem with Collision Flag

By default that flag is enabled for new objects. However it seems that if you have an object that is already texture mapped and later you enlarg...
