...assuming that the animation is uncompressed? Blender supports loads of codecs for animation, but only wav for audio.

z3r0_d: Just FYI, on some (logitech?) mice, when you install them it defaults to some random logicrap scroll function for the middlemouse- so unless you know that blender *needs* the middlemouse button it doesnt always work fluently. That said, AFAIK the chances that blender will move away from midd...

The recent cvs fix solved the tiff errors for me. You will have to make sure that you clean the BL_imbuf (i think thats the name) project in /blender.sln, and rebuild. Also, you need to add into that project the existing files dynlibtiff.c and dynlibtiff.h, found in blender\source\blender\imbuf\inte...

Success! Thanks bjornmouse. If I were to go back to the clean CVS, and attempt to correct all the errors in compilation, would that be useful? Almost all the problems were in missing includes etc in the VC7 project files. Is there someone I could send the patch to so they could submit it to the CVS?...

Thanks LetterRip, after adding the new tiff/include folder to the include path and adding dynlibtiff.* to the BL_imbuf project that section built successfully, removing both all the tiff related errors at linking. Also, the creator.c related error is gone. However, the Elbeem related errors remain! ...

I had the same issues when linking. I am no coder (yet), so I couldnt get very far debugging it, but I looked in some detail at the first message. It seemed the first file that had errors was the IMbuffer component, and it was looking for the tiff format libraries. So, I added the file it was lookin...

This wouldnt have been caused by pressing 'P', but perhaps you set another object to be the camera; try selecting the camera and pressing CTRL+NUM0

You would be better off using the .obj format, if you just need vertex/face information. Blender will export, it is in the scripts window.

There is an article here that has a brief summary of the format. It's pretty easy, you shouldnt have any trouble.

I havent tried it, but would it be possible to set a certain 'distance', so for example if the foot is quite big, then it does not continue to pass through the floor until the bone touches the floor, but instead the bone stops a set distance above?

thanks

At the moment, verse will only be integrated in blender. I doubt that it will ever be integrated into 3ds MAX or other commercial programs.
