I tested it on a third mesh, expecting it to do the same thing as the first two, only this time it worked perfectly, but I have no idea what is different about the third try and the first two. I will try to figure out what causes it to occur. I left a thread at elysiun with a couple of screen shots....

A UV layers / texture baking bug
This seems to be a huge bug, but I hesitate to say, since I have never actually used UV layers up until now. I thought I could use UV layers to paint a seamless UV texture, so I made a crude head to test it, and gave it two sets of coords. I painted a texture on the one set, then baked it onto the n...

Feature Request: World that responds to camera loc
Currently, as far as I know, the real setting in the world buttons only responds to camera rotation, not the cameras orientation in 3D space. I think it would be helpful to have a sort of virtual sky dome setting, where you could enter the size of the dome, and perhaps even stack textures, at varyin...

Feature Request: Disable AO on select objects
I occasionally run into a situation, as with my current project, where a shadeless object is interfering with the AO. Currently, I am making a superhero anim, set in a city, and, because the 'real' setting in the world is only affected by the rotation of the camera, not the position in space, I made...

Feature Suggestion for UV Editor
Hey guys, this is probably a bit late in the release schedule for new features, but I was thinking, it might be fairly easy to do, and really useful. The suggestion is: a line tool
btw, I painted some really great textures earlier today using the pressure sensitivity, and it totally rocks.

Materials Disabled in RC1?
Hey guys, does anyone know what is up with the regular materials in the game engine in RC1? Were they left disabled intentionally or was it a bug?

Help a bug!
I have been having a bit of trouble logging into the bug tracker forum lately so could someone please pass this on? When doing retopo>retopo all, there is a slight problem. Let's call the two meshes the 'form' and the 'rubber sheet' for lack of better terms. If you have a lamp or a camera in between...

Help! I'm a Noob! ( no, but seriously...armature question )
Hey guys sorry for posting here but Elysiun is undergoing an upgrade for a few hours and this is driving me nuts. I know there is some button for the armature for 'hinge' so the child bone doesn't inherit the rotation from the parent, but I can't seem to find it. I'm totally blind or something I gue...

RGB values for emit ( feature suggestion )
a couple of days ago i downloaded a copy of anim8or because i had to do some testing on a convertor in it's native format. ( vertex something or other ) but anyway as i was fumbling around with the UI i noticed that for the emit settings, they combine an RGB value with the emit value, like yellowish...

Needed-Object specific hair guides
i was playing with the hair guides, and it occured to me that it would be very practical to be able to specify which hair objects were affected by which guides. hopefully this is easy to do.
