you 'present to us a new tool' does that mean you are coding it? or you want someone to make it for you.... if it is the latter, someone has already started coding it. you might want to have a look at one of the google summer of code projects http://wiki.blender.org/bin/view.pl/Blenderdev/SketchBase...

I like the system the way it currently works. I can install the latest version at school in my lab without getting the computer techs involved. If version numbers were to be tied to each release, I would then need to get the building tech to install them for me, then contact the network guy over at...

yes there is, but you would get more replies if you post this question in the user forums http://www.elysiun.com/forum/

there is a python script that will bake things from the game engine into IPO's. and in the next release there will be a newley intergrated physics engine aimed for animation.

Example: http://www.elmindreda.org/verse/firstcontact.html Blender to Maya jiri and elmindreda managed to get geometry from Blender to Maya today (2005/07/12, -318527.96). It went very smoothly. the verse server only holds the mesh data, materials, objects etc.... so anything you do in maya would be done how maya does it, then it would tell the verse server the mesh data (verts, edges and faces) then blender would be told that. so yes, you could use one tool in blender, then a different one...
