It would be nice to have a list of parts so you can select and modify them easier, like the model tree in Pro Engineer.

Well, yes, with easily I meant relatively easily. At the moment it's a little hard because all online tutorials are out of date, but time and the Blender book will fill that gap.

I think the people who can already use 3d programs very well, are quickly adapted to Blender. People who want to learn 3d stuff can learn it easily with Blender, and that's very difficult with 3DSMax. So I don't see the point of changing the interface for the worst. Espescially because Blender isn't...

I've been searching on Blender.it a bit, and I found this thread: http://www.blender.it/modules.php?op=modload&name=Forums&file=viewtopic&topic=866&forum=4 it makes no sense to me, because unfortunately I don't speak Italian, but here is a (though crappy online) translation: Hello, Manuel and all th...

I don't like this idea. I don't like web browsers in anything but my web browser. Why does every program want either a built-in web browser, the ability to burn cd's or preferably both? It would only slow the program down.

I don't think it really matters, although I can't be sure because I've never used Linux.
But I don't think it will be worth all that fuss for Blender only, but I think I'm going to have a Win XP/ Linux double installation on my next comp, just to check Linux out though.

But it looks very good!

We just had a massive gui upgrade and a new manual. Do we have to change a lot of things now already again?

A few questions

I've recently started learning how to use Blender and I have a few questions: 1. Is it possible to create a new verticle on an existing edge (that's what a line between to verticals is called right?). I know I can add single verticles but it would be easier if I could just select a part of an edge a...
