I'm hoping it'll be more of a Thanksgiving present, for those of us who celebrate that holiday.

We'll just have to see...

Right now Ton is asking for verification that this isn't merely presale hype... amazon seems to say they're shipping them, but they also state that it's out in 2004... Odd.

Most likely... we'll hear from Ton soon hopefully on how fast the game engine can be thrown back into a release with the code worked out...

Yes, but that's a much older version I think... believe they are waiting for a release of SOLID ver. 3.5

Game Engine Status Thread

I would like to request that the moderators go ahead and moderate the hell out of this thread, make it sticky and have only current status on the game engine posted here.

Or, if no one likes that idea, blast the thread. But I think it would be nice to have a quasi-official announcement thread.

I disagree... I think an open-source group is uniquely qualified to do this type of work. The OSS community usually knows enough to design it's application to be relitively portable, and with the amount of volunteers, distributing the workload and appointing a person to focus on each browser combo i...
