I remember there used to be one running here ( http://verse.kidb.de/ ), which is where I got my first real taste of how powerful VERSE could be. Up again, but there are video downloads too, so do not expect performance. Maybe someone can send me a script. If verse not running start verse else wait ...

Re: Compiling Blender on Debian - Dependancies and Errors

If you are on debian/ubuntu an apt-get build-dep blender will help a lot. apt-get install apt-file, apt-file update, apt-file search al.h will find libalut-dev.
you should have too, libopenal-del, libsdl1.2-dev.

There is support for an Xinput-Device (tablet) in the latest code. I unplugged my tablet and get now the same error. Solution: Buy a tablet. :-)
I will look if i can add spaceball-support, but only for linux.

Re: SOC Sculpt Build errors

Code: Select all

X Error of failed request: BadDevice, invalid or uninitialized input device
Major opcode of failed request: 146 (XInputExtension)
Edited the wrong post. Here should be something like dpkg -l libxi. But it is wrong anyway.
