Is there something in particular you want to do with Textures via scripting? Tell us your thoughts.

Actually nothing too fancy - simply the ability to define a link between a material and a texture. Seems strange to be able to link a material to a mesh, but not a texture to a material.

Will it ever be possible to access textures via Python?

It sounds like something complicated to implement, but are there any plans to add access to Blender Texture blocks via Python?

Coloured Widgets for Python Scripts?

Is there any possibility of enabling coloured widgets via python? This would allow GUIs for scripts to be designed to match the actual Blender interface. Its not a big deal, but there is a lot of discussion about interface design and it would be more aesthetic if script GUIs could be made to blend i...

I'm writing a script that will hopefully do everything you need completely within Blender. Take a look here ( http://www.elysiun.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=14141 ). The tests i posted are not really examples of the effect you want, but they will be included with time. It will be a while before this i...

MeshPlus v1 - better mesh data access

I've written a python 'MeshPlus' class to allow easy access to mesh attributes not available to the normal python API (face normals etc...). See the post below for the code and a quick example of how it could be used. http://www.elysiun.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=14061 Comments on how it looks so far...
