ok, here are some questions will swapping v1s and v2s have adverse effects on the mesh? I'm not sure what you mean by swapping, if you mean v1 becomes v2 and vice-versa.....yes, you can't do that. you'll probably destroy the vertexlist. What exactly is G? I know it is a EditEdge, but is it a linked...

indeed, you can't rely on V1 and V2 to decide 1 side or the other. you'll have to do an entire loop, than choose 1 side (vert closest to the cursor) and check every connection to that vert. btw, if you're messing in my code, I'm sorry it's such a mess :D if you need any help with it, I'll be on irc ...

It is possible to do it that way, but I don't think users will understand that you need a faceloop connected to the vertexloop.....
I think it's easier to wait for a new mesh structure.

ps. if I have time for it I will try it out tho ;)

[SNIP] You need to relax. Sit down and think. Is it more logical and convinient to have selection with LMB, and boundbox selection with LMB drag? Is it more convenient to move the set 3d cursor command and gestures away from the primary mouse button LMB? I think it is. [SNIP] -Monkeyboi I think it ...

eeek, some scary suggestions here.

Basically I disagree with everything on monkeyboi's list :)
DON'T screw around with LMB/RMB selection/cursor stuff pleaaaase.
Lasso select would be nice tho, maybe as an RMB+modifier-gesture.

posting bug reports at the moment has no use because the UI is still in progress. 2.30 will be the point where it is finished (to a certain extent) so you can report bugs after that.

The only thing I know is that it's a really short distance (5-10 minutes max) from central station to de waag.
Not sure about vondelpark-Waag....
