for a long time, I was running Blender on a P1/166, 64 mb or RAM with a 4mb ATI card. And it ran smooth most of the time (well, as long as there wasn't more than 5K faces on screen) And now you're not? :) I got a Toshiba Satellite 2400 laptop about a month ago. P4/ 1.6 GHz, 256 mb of DDR RAM, 14.4 ...

I usually use a dummy script to do that kind of things, but yes, a command line window could be very useful.

you kick ass indeed. instead of a renderman button, I think it would be a much better idea to have a drop down menu from which you could select the renderer. We could then have the export plugin as an external compiled file, when loading it, it would had a renderer to the list. What do you think? ch...

I presonnaly think that the Elysiun color scheme is much easier on the eye, especially on a LCD screen :)

the development of Dynamica was stopped until the open sourcing, so we don't code for nothing. The idea was to eventually integrated it in the Blender particles system, after a new restart with a bigger development team (which should begin not long after the initial rush is over).
