With all the recent recalls of extremely poor designs Intel has been coming up with? Not at all. The entire P4 family is insulting to the PC industry, they were designed to run at a higher clockspeed without a proportional increase in performance... AMD has had the only 64-bit x86-capable CPU for ov...

What is the point of your post then? You probably have an ATI card, and there has been a huge effort towards documenting problems and issues and their solutions, plus you can also search the forums. Or figure out what kind of hardware your "new dell" has.

I'd say they're pretty darn good right now, running in 32-bit mode they beat the fastest P4 the majority of tests....

Hell, a Duron would be better than any of the newer Celerons. Celerons are reallly bad now, I would recommend Athlon myself just for the cost/performance ratio.

I wouldn't jump the gun and say it's better, and it's actually NOT open-source. Cube is rather innovative and features techniques not seen in most engines, it's pretty cool :)

Ca3D is closed-source and seems to be just a Quake3-engine-replacement kind of engine.

There have been TONS of posts about this problem for MONTHS if not years, I think his mean comment was warranted. A search on google would have worked too.

Check your aspect settings (they are just beneath the resolution settings)

Also please post questions like this at elysiun.com, this forum is generally for development-related questions and yours is a render question, so it shouldn't be in the Interface section anyhow.

Yeah it's actually been out for a while, it featuring some neat rendering techniques (that's why the author was hired to work on far cry)

Find the level specs and start pythonin' an export script :D
