Ok, so I´ll try to hack together a culling script for this project. I started by redoing the ground, since it´s the most problematic part, I guess. Joeri, thanks a lot for taking your time with my scene! I already thought that the flor textures would be problematic. I´m running the scene here and still get decent FPS with my GeForce FX 5200 128MB (arounf 25FPS). The thing ids that there´s still much to be added to the model (polys and textures)...
