Hi Acheater, I was wondering if you or someone could update the VRML 2.0 script in Blender to do the same thing as the X3D script you wrote does. Many people like myself still have a vrml plugin for their browser. I use windows and FreeWRL hasn't ported to windows yet. It may be quite awhile before ...

Yes S68! I have noticed how fast it has been progressing! Thanks so much for your time and dedication and to the others who are also helping. The documentation project is so appreciated and more people are going to learn Blender because of it! I also think more tutorials will start to emerge as well...

... As long as it is simple to use for newbies and they wont have to go through a long series of complicated procedures to get to any help files, I don't care about how it is implemented. But please don't make it Python installation dependant. As a newbie, me too. I don't care how it gets implement...

Sorry, Ideasman, I would not buy an online ebook. The current documentation project as I understand it will be available for download free and is open content just like the last sept 2.28 version. I have been following the progress of the documentation and since writing this message I noticed that t...

To add to my last message: the help file could also point to a folder called "tutorials" in which an html index with links to the tutorials in that folder. The user could edit this in an html software linking it to their favorite tutorials. Of course a few tutorials could also be included within the...

Yes, Theeth, I think the blender book is too big. I was thinking more of a concise help html version that would be smaller if it was included in with Blender. People like myself are still using 56k modems (oh humm). I would still download the manual and have downloaded every latest one that's availa...

Hi, I would like to make a few suggestions as a newbie desperately trying to learn blender. I think there should be a help menu that actually has some documentation in the next release 2.33. My suggestions are: 1. Make this documentation in html format in a separate help folder like many other softw...

Online Documentation - Blender 2.32

I was wondering if it is possible to put the HTML version of the 2.32 manual online for download. I have been reading the documentation boards and it seems there is a difficulty with parsing pdf with docbook, but the HTML version seems to work. I think it would be good to have something available. P...

Yes, this is happening to me too. Using Win2k. I found that if I double click the .B.blend file in the .blender folder in 2.30 I get the specified user settings saved. It's saving the settings, but not loading.
