As for positioning the cursor numerically so you can place an object, why not simply place the object and then position it with N? Honestly, right now, i do not remember! It was a feature I know I had needed several times when i was working on some big project and made a mental note to propo...

I think its more an issue of added control in what is ultimately a virtual world! Being able to vary stiffness might be handy to represent parts of cloth under tension and parts which are loose! :D If you can attach parts of the cloth to objects - to make curtains and hammocks, etc, this stiffness ...

parameters like stiffness would be ultra nice if they could be adjusted in a per vertex maner using a vertex painting way. Martin I think that should be optional though since most fabrics would be fairly uniformly stiff and it would run (a bit?) faster if it is uniform. I think its more an issue of...

Imput Cursor Position Numerically

Given, blender's current snap method, what would be a useful addition would be the ability to imput the position of 3D cursor numerically. Is it there and I don't know where? Right now, both SHIFTN and N bring up numeric info for the selected data. Maybe we could change SHIFTN to represent the 3D cu...

Now, last but not least, I think WE all agree.... Please don't pass such general sweeping statements. Most of us here are capable of speaking for ourselves. thank you. spooky music begins...... UPDATE: Well, it seems to work nicely, I'm yet undecided about whether it's a good idea or not. ht...

shall we disable polls entirely? its annyoing... and if really needed, we admins can always create one. 1) Most unofficial polls on the Blender sites have rarely had well formulated questions and suitable possible answers. 2) Plus the user-base at Blender.org is much smaller than that at Elysiun so...

This is probably a silliy question but: are you in edit mode when you try? Remember BB only works in edit mode!

Also state operating system and Blender version so epople can verify if its a bug.

They have creative minds not problem solving minds. A problem solving mind is a creative mind, and a creative mind is a problem solving mind. i think artistic/irrational vs Logical/rational might be more suitable for what you're looking for! Although, to be honest I think programmers...

I like! :D

But why the use of gradients for non-buttons like the textholders (const, const.001) shouldn't those be flat? they look like pushed in buttons at the moment! :?

[music] spooky, 30's horror organ soundtracks [/music] What do you mean by 'ondulation'? I'm curious.. Ondulation as in 'waves'. When you have loads of buttons next to each other, with gradients, you get the 'shadows' going up down up down up down.... I don't mean they actually move, but several gra...

Argh, not you again, ilac! (heh, j/k :D ;)) Do you hear the spooky, 30's horror organ soundtracks everytime you see my name? just curious! :P Good arguments! Guess the lesser gradients is a good compromise. just to expand on my reasoning: Its not the gradient on a button per se that i find annoying...

I tried a version with more subtle gradients on the buttons. What do you guys think? stronger: subtler: Could you please post a post with 3 versions, the third being a version without gradients! :P I definetly prefer the lesser gradients from these 2! I'd like to see a version of your buttons witho...
