Here's the link to LG's build....
http://www.zoo-logique.org/3D.Blender/i ... tions.php3

You need an Aqsis install and a couple of DLLs (See the Blender forum at www.aqsis.com, "Configuration of Blender")

Hopefully you'll have better luck than me

Paul,

I'm not talking about Lancelet's build (which I haven't yet found), but about LG's build. I assure you it is for Windows and LG says that Aqsis needs to be in the path. As it is not included in the build, I'm assuming an external Aqsis installation...

In the Blender Foum on the Aqsis site, there is a test build of Blender Tuhopuu with Renderman integration (defaults to Aqsis, but Pixie et al are also there.) :D Of course , you need an Aqsis installation too... Haven't got it to work yet, but then I'm pretty limited in my capabilities so don't let...

Probably totally out of line here, but..... I just read on the Aqsis site that the Aqsis integration has been commited to the Tuhopuu2 CVS.... For me, this show a lot of promise (Yafray-like integration but with a Renderman compliant renderer....) Any coders want to have a look at it and...euh.... p...

Wohooo!

F* great, Michel! 8) Will try this out over the weekend. Thanks to the previous build you posted, I finally was able to run Beast in all its glory on Mdk-10!! Is the AO patch in there? If so, how do I get to it? If not.... :( EDIT: oops, found AO in the world settings... Again, I just wish t...

Wohoo!!! Michel, you're my hero!! Running it (static) on Mandrake 10 Community: no problem whatsoever. (so OTO's segfault is probably related to something else....) Still haven't played a lot with it though I'm especially interested in the 2.3 Python implementation.... Played around a bit with Flipp...

I don't remember it being restored, but all the juicy parts (CJ, Tutorials and newsflashes) are available on http://download.blender.org/documentation/oldsite/oldsite.blender3d.org/ If this is not what you mean, sorry, I have no idea where the 'image' of the original site is... JoOngle, indulge me... You are saying that an obsolete manual (covering 2.31) would be just fine as it would after all cover a lot of stuff in Blender which is almost NOT affected by the changes caused by 2.32? An updated manual could then come out, oh, about a year later. If that is your case (obso...

I don't get it.... You PRE-ORDER a manual for Blender 2.31, presumably to show support for the Foundation. A couple of weeks later, Blender explodes with new features! (Internal raytracer, external raytracer, displacement mapping, GUI updates,...) Now, what is the better situation? 1. get an obsolet...

Victorivar,

Your fish is absolutely sublime!!
It really has a 3D feel to it!
And the glass material must be just about the bast I've seen on Blender.
Nice pic 8)
