For now...everything seems to be limited to the bounding box.... ..meaning...if I shape the box like a round cup...the animation will still come out as a box even if the subsurf has been flattened (modifier applied..and vaporized) I made a small test movie: http://www.hamsterking.com/blender/3d/tghf...

Hey Gabio, Thanks a lot for this test-build! Man....I'm gonna have fun now!!! This is ONE happy saturday! PS: What does the elbeem file do? It seem to work without running it afterwards. I get a lot of bobj files without running this : Run ../build_dir/arch/elbeem-blender -b -f untitlend.blend_fluid...

Are these builds suitable for everyday use yet? I really want to get using the animation tools but I don't want to end up with bad files. I bet the Orange team are using them to create the movie (don't know, why not ask them? Basse? Ton? Anyone?) But you can't be 100 % sure with CVS tests, some bug...

Adding "Foam" to the fluid would be an absolutely "kicking" extention to it, that way
we could create "beer" & "Shampoo" commercials :)

But yeah, the fluid simulation is really great looking, can't wait to test it out.

@Pablosbrain,

No...not in the CVS anyway.
I've compiled the last known "linux" version availiable, and it's no different
from the Windows version (except the things that have been added since Gabios build)

- CTRL+I for adding IK targets seems not to work - pose-mode specials menu - also WIP? It's because you don't have the latest CVS version. It was probably added the next day after Ton compiled the one for OS X. I've downloaded Ton's version here and it doesn't work for me either. But I've compiled ...

malefico: I'm trying and trying and can't quite reproduce your problems. Everything seems fine here so far. BTW: I made an update 23:00 yesterday, try downloading it again if you downloaded the "24" version earlier than 23:00 yesterday! It might have been a bugfix. Anyway - I'll probably update this...

WOW 2! I really REALLY appreciate the EASY way IK has been re-introduced. Making an IK chain was never easier. :) But that said... Is it possible to make the bones RENDERABLE somehow...this is very useful for video-tutorials etc... Note2: When duplicating an IK chain with an duplicated EMPTY the dup...

Repeat select looping

I've countless times thought about that it would immensely practical to have a loopselect function that selected the distance between to faces/vertices/edges or more. Eg.. you have a sphere... You select the first face in a loop...skip the second face...and select the third face Pressing the loopsel...
