@Gabio - of course not. But can you hold back waiting for the next release when you could enjoy incredible speedups (or insert-feature-here) right now?

I know I cant...and besides...its good for testing.

Thoro - make sure you have a backup (plenty of them) before you
re-save.

It seem to somehow "remove" the mesh if you revert back to an
older Blender (like the previous release)...the only thing left
visible is the Eyes and the Armature...

Yes I do.

It will respond - but only after a long time of rendering.
Sometimes I have to wait until it's finished with the rendering.
(Under Linux here)

Here's the first one! No sound??????? I did not activate "openal" for this test. Strange thing though... I've installed openal and all... and configured the path in SConstruct where to find the openal installation... ...but there's still no sound with "yet another compile" I just made. Weird... Any...
