umm. How long experience do you have with Bryce? And do you model mostly with primitives and modifiers? Blender is a full fledged Modeller, more of a poly-modeller rather than a "ready-mesh-&-Modifier" based program like 3dstudio Max and others. My point is....3D - is - WAY more complex to learn tha...

Personally I think there should be a month extra to take care of the bugs (especially those that leads to crashes). As Blender gets more complex and have more features than ever - It also have more crashes than ever. I used to be able to work all day without a single crash, but even the latest relea...

Is it just me or does LoopSelect in Edge mode (SOLID) select nothing? Switching to wireframe mode and it selects complete loops as it should. (Alt + B). Works fine with holding down Alt + RightMouse button (very useful feature!) *edit* Furthermore...it only selects middle-way loops...not the edges a...

zbgump - thank you. Don't worry about it though, I keep testing it
on my windows machine as well. It was just a bit impractical in
the weekends because my windows computer have to be at work
and at home I only have the Mac powerbook to test with.

Thanks anyway though :)

Sounds good Broken - eager to try it out:

Anyone have a compiled OS X 10.3 version for little moa to test?

"hint...I'm not a programmer...I read the compile thread and
went hastily back to creating organic animatable characters".

More Reports: I *Really* have a hard time selecting edges in edgemode when the "optimal" button is checked. It's like you never know what edges will be selected, maybe the solution would be to fix it so that the actual edges get's selected instead of selecting the "original edges" on the "original s...

WOW! it sure speeds up the Ambient Occlusion render.
Didn't even have to time it, the results where astoundingly fast.

Thanks for this release, and thanks for releasing the tests
for OS X as well.

I use Blender on a windows machine at work
and Blender on an OS X laptop at home.

Retraceable error: Blender Crash on system information: 1) Start with a clean blender 2) Switch one of the windows to a text-editor window 3) Enter "Help/System/System information Blender would now crash instantly. (at least on my Windows 2000-sp4 / 2 Gb / Xp2800+/Nvidia 5900)...
