Topic: BU in Blender is mm? Scaling issue in obj and stl

A blender unit isn't set to a default real world unit by default. That way it's flexable. There are all kinds of things being modeled. You need to pick a scale that works for you. If your working on a watch or something mm is probably a good idea. If your working on a giant space ship you might want...

snaron, You need to make sure the build you got has cuda enabled otherwise it won't allow you to switch to gpu rendering. Also, the number of video cards supported is pretty small right now so it still might not work for you. I'm guessing your card works however you do not have a cuda enabled cycles...

Blender doesn't really have a phone #. I'm assuming your trying to contact the blender foundation? What are you trying to contact them about? Your best bet is to use the forums here and someone will direct you to who you need to talk to, or answer any questions you have. You could also try the bf-co...

Not that I'm aware of. I'm guessing it comes from the preference for quads in
your shapes. points and lines don't show up on an image, so the need for them is smaller, and as you mentioned it's pretty easy to make a simple vert/edge if
needed.

You can use stenciling to merge multiple materials
You can also use nodes I think.

I haven't done it with a uvmap but it should be doable.
Play with it and see if it does what you want...

Blender is free, so you can do what you want with it. You would need to talk
to your school to see if it's ok though. Were more than happy if you install it on the machines, but you should make sure it's alright before doing so.

I would try using shrinkwrap or the game engine physics to
create a path on the terrain. Then lift it up a bit and use that path for
the wheel to follow.

Thank you for your answer. Vertex coordinates are floating point numbers. I know, my problem was the slight variance in the export file. My question is: will the variance in the values still be that small if you export a more complex mesh? Meaning is there an error in the export algorithm which aff...

On the texture, I'm guessing your using an image?
If you are under Image-Mapping you can set it to repeat
Or under Mapping you can change the size to scale it up.

Or you could use uv mapping as well.
