it's fairly simple... i have to get about 6000 frames rendered by tuesdaymorning (preferred monday evening) according to my current renderspeed and correction if the .bat file fails it's gonna be friday... unless i find a batch file guru.
that can help me with a few questions i have

it's annoying.

it could have something to do with empty's but no way with bad ati settings! (nivdia card) not enough ram could also neither be a issue (1 gig)
so i dont know what is...

you might want to use the unified render button, and voila there you have your toon line and hey, you can even change it's color when fiddling with the edgesettings located at the rendersettings window

for larger animations that dont need fancy raytracing i still use 2.12 but it still crashes! i hate it

at alatis we developed barbie (Blender Animation Render Batch Interactive Editor) a batchfile maker for blender so i know its possibility's but i want to continue working with blender while rendering... and if it crashes i can simply kill the task and continue working!

something like

start
on frame 20 set the text of (textitem) to "blender"
on frame 30 set the text of (textitem) to "rules"
on frame 45 set the text of (textitem) to "the"
on frame 60 set the text of (textitem) to "world"
end

renderer as a seperate executable?

hello

i simply hate it if blender keeps crashing while rendering so maybe its a solution to put the renderer in a seperate excecutable to prevent blender from crashing while rendering.

i know that its not a "blender" platform but it works for making books and design work...

Hi! Nice. You're one of the first to react! :) Most of the screenshots are too bright, something I am disappointed of as well. It's something the printer should have done better, i'm not really sure its a printer problem, probably someone misadjusted most of the images. because some images are good...
