Console Titlebar Name

What are the chances that the console window could be named "Blender Console". In windows, I frequently minimize blender and when i want to bring it back up I've forgotten which window is which. It's really irritating, and after all these years I'm not sure why I've never spoken up about it before.

I want to fix the NDOF 3dConnexion SpaceNavigator plugin

The plugin for the 3D mouse that is available is totally broken. Some movements are so incredibly hard to do, and increasing sensitivity doesn't help. MANY are inverted and it's very confusing, especially when you switch modes. Also, transformations are global, and it would be nice if global/view/lo...

Stereo separation

Hi. Today I had the wonderful opportunity to try out Blender on a geowall which was a G5 PPC mac running two projectors both at 1024x768 passing through perpendicular polarized filters. I used the "side by side" option and set the width of the game window to double. Unfortunately, once I got it runn...

Linked Data hotkey

A work-flow trap that I fall in to all the time goes as follows: 1. I've got a messy model with stuff inside of stuff. 2. I want to hide everything except something hard to select, so I get the bright idea to select the thing inside, invert, and hide. 3. I select a single vertex on a mesh that might...

I think the most appropriate path to take for a game would be something like a board game (with story elements from the movie) where smaller games are played for points. The story would eventually end by some action or amount of points. [just IMHO.] The project page (and job descriptions) don't say ...

Feat. Request : Place Cursor on Surface

When in perspective mode it can be very hard to place the cursor in the right place. http://rgbk.org/blender/request_cursor/fig1.png http://rgbk.org/blender/request_cursor/fig2.png I challenge you to place the cursor in between these two bars by aligning your view with one bar and then another. We'r...

REQUEST: Independent Buttons-Window Scroll Positions

The buttons window is the most used section of Blender. With an increasing number of panels in the buttons window, they are sometimes a bother to manage on one tab. But from one tab to another, the scroll positions are shared. This is very bothersome to me especially when making materials. Switching...

I was curious about something... Isn't Vista 64 bit, and Blender not? How is it running at all unless I'm wrong. 32 bit emulation, right?

I wish Blender was 64 bit, so I could use it with Ubuntu - which has no 32 bit emulation.

First click for commands, not the last!

I first noticed while playing around with the node editor, which I keep on the left side of my layout, that when I decided to add a new node it would be placed off screen. Why was it doing such a thing? Well, I discovered that the new nodes were being placed at the exact location that my mouse happe...

Updated

I updated the original post instead of typing it all out again. That would be redundancy, which we're trying to smother! :D

REDUNDANCY: "Do Composite" & "Use Nodes&a

I wasted about 4 hours today. Why do we need 2 buttons to render a composite? How about just one. The "Do composite" isn't necessary. Even it's tool-tip reads "Uses compositing nodes for output rendering." Here,I list behavior of Blender's interface when only the "Use Nodes" button is selected (seen...

Who fixed the Tablet Mouse "Puck" for Windows?

This is a search. Who fixed Blender's mouse-like behavior for the mouse puck? (There's a working test build on graphicall) I would like to thank you and and also ask your help. Inkscape needs a similar fix. Except the community for Inkscape isn't nearly as large as Blender's so the problem has gone ...
