Gameblender came first

I posted a news announcement on gameblender a long time ago that was about this very subject -- it's still up there in fact, dated June 1st 2005 Ton has announced the Orange Project as the first ever "open movie". This is a great opportunity for a challenging job to demand better things out of Blend...

This is really awesome. The only thing still missing is a way of working with a bunch of verteces that aren't connected yet. You've made some sweet progress though.

To adress the issue of layers, if anyone in here has ever worked with Fruityloops then you're familiar with the phone-style num pad for selecting patterns. When the program finally was allowed to do more, it was thrown out in place of a wheel selector. A. Keep the minibuttons because they are what I...

[ramble] I wouldn't mind seeing some fresh ideas, proposals, or whatever. I've been locked up in my own little world making my own things, and after a while the GUI -- even now that I'm used to it -- seems stale after all this time. It's good to know that there's other people that aren't satisfied y...

You could always [ALT]-select any line on a face or line to loop select. That's quite an old feature. I remember there being lots of talk about ading a "move to next loop" command, which might have to do with those commands being tampered with in the first place...?

BUMP I'm really really interested in radiance primarily because a. it's open and b. it's what paul debevec uses. Anyway, last time i tried radiance, it wanted me to have a copy of autoCAD just to run it. Was that just me? Sooo.. if a radiance renderer could gather some programmers such as ray_thera...

I think this is a legitimate, well-thought, and reasonable request. It's a large request because it's got four parts, but they're all very reasonable. If some of the "globalness" of blender was siphoned into these ideas which sort of build off of other programs, the features presented here would be ...

I found these new camera fly controls to be not as fun to use, but they are certainly more useful. I'm curious why a WASD plus QE for rotation hasn't been adopted. Oh, that's right.. only some keyboads are qwerty! Perhaps in the future customizable keyboard shortucts will allow us to utilize a true ...

Elbarto, that is a very brilliant proposal. I'll be honest, I havn't a lot of time this week to try and make a mock up of a new layout, but i'll try to remember.

Feature Request: SURROUND SOUND

OK, so... audio has never been a pinnacle section of development for Blender. I'm really hoping that this can change. My idea is very simple. As I'm sure you are all aware, sounds can be assigned to objects in blender so that they are actually being emitted as "3D Sounds" while running in the game e...

 I guess making fun of n00bs will always be something to entertain one another with. How about I make a universal RTFM-esque image that clearly says, with a friendly arrow or pointing hand, "Elysiun: the forum for Blender users", ya' know? Ok, really, I was being serious.
