because you can do it with two materials, one wire with a zoffset, the other either a solid black [if that is what you want], or perhaps grey or whatever [so the wire is on top of the solid mesh]
This wouldn't work as I still want other objects to be visible through the wireframe.

Funny thing: I was just looking for a feature like that during rendering. I'd like to render a wireframe head with it's nackside occluded. It's not possible yet, is it?

Not to mention how useful this would be for modelling. Definitely something to consider.

I have the same problem with some imported geometry from a CAD-program. It does have a couple of very small details, but I need those for some serious zooming. I get the same "white" edges all over the image which makes OSA impossible to use for this project. I think this has to be adressed pretty s...

I'm now using Blender 2.34 on an ATI Radeon 9600 XT and everything seems to work just fine. Is there some definite answer as to how far the whole issue was adressed in v.2.34?

Are there plans to slove this issue for good? With a different build of Blender I got it all working for now, but sooner or later this should be addressed directly.
